Short Story Analysis for Amateurs (2007)

Rediscover the art of the short story.
Love literature, but don't have a lot of time to read? Ever feel like short stories get short shrift in comparison to novels? Then we've got the group for you -- a discussion group devoted solely to short stories.
We'll discuss classic and contemporary short stories on the fourth Tuesday night of each month. You don't need a background in literature studies, and you don't need to be an 'expert.' We're looking for people who love to read, and love digging deep into a story to see not just the entertainment, but the craft of writing itself.
We want to keep this discussion small and lively, so we're capping signups at 21 participants. Call 684-5803 or 536-7898 to reserve your spot and find out what we're reading first.
