Meet author Kimberla Lawson Roby (2007)
Meet the author Kimberla Lawson Roby
The HMCPL and its Sister 2 Sister / Brother 2 Brother Book Club are pleased to present the New York Times bestselling author Kimberla Lawson Roby!
Roby's novels deal with real-life issues in compelling, readable ways. No topic is too sensitive to speak of: domestic violence, church issues, discrimination, and infidelity have all come up in her writing. Her warmth comes through in her writing; her characters become as personal and familiar as friends to her readers.
Roby will speak in the auditorium of the Main Library on Saturday, 16 June. Tickets are $5 in advance and $8 at the door, and go on sale May 1. Our seating is limited, so order early to guarantee your seat! See the sidebar for how to order yours. Books will be available for purchase and autographing.
Our thanks go out to the Huntsville Library Foundation and Sam's Club, whose generous sponsorship made this event possible!
