Donate Your Books!
Madison Public Library and Bob Jones High School will hold their third annual Teen Read Week book drive from October 15-21. The Harris Home of Huntsville will be the recipients of all books collected during the book drive.
How does it work?
Drop off your new or gently used classics and popular fiction books for ages 13-18 at the Madison Public Library or Bob Jones High School. We’ll get them in the hands of youths from the Harris Home of Huntsville who cannot afford the required reading books that schools assign or even other books for simple pleasure reading.
Read off Your Fines!
All library locations will observe Teen Read Week by hosting Read Off Your Fines events throughout Madison County during this week. Tweens (grades 5-8) and Teens (grades 9-12) are invited to participate. For every 30 minutes spent reading, $1.00 worth of late fines will be cleared.
