We're seeking volunteers!

If you are willing to devote at least two hours a week to your community on a continuing basis, the library needs you! The Main library is seeking multiple volunteers to help assist patrons with our new RFID check-out system, act as a friendly Concierge at the main entrance, work on the Heritage Room Obituary Index project or help with other special tasks or events.

Volunteer orientations are held in conjunction with HandsOn Greater Huntsville on the 4th Thursday at 5:00PM and the 2nd Tuesday of each month at noon in the event room on the 2nd Floor at Main. Our next sessions will be:

  • June 22nd at 5:00pm
  • July 8th at Noon
