We've got something for everyone!
Whether your a timid soul or like to enjoy a good scare the branches of the Huntsville Madison County Public Library have something you and your family will enjoy.
Danse Immortelle: A Haunted Masquerade Ball (Teens & College students)
Main-Huntsville Public Library, Friday October 29 @ 8 p.m. – 12 Midnight
Join the eternal dance of the undead in an enchanting setting at the Huntsville Madison County Public Library 2nd Annual Masquerade Ball, Danse Immortelle. On Friday, October 29 from 8:00 p.m. to the strike of 12 midnight, the Main Huntsville Madison County Public Library will be transformed into a haunted gothic castle, worthy of the most glamorous ghostly creatures of the night. There will be music, food, and dancing. Come dressed in Masquerade apparel, as your favorite undead being or a character of your own creation. Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes. Tickets sales start October 4 and will be available at any of the twelve Huntsville Madison County Public Library branches. Tickets are $10 in advance, and $15 at the door. This is an alcohol free event. Ghosts and specters who appear ages 14 to 21 are invited to attend. Find us on Facebook. Get into the Fall Festival mood with our annual Wild Things Puppet Show. The books Where the Wild Things Are and The Little Old Lady Who Was not Afraid of Anything are the inspiration for this fun and much loved puppet show. Monrovia’s Monster Mash: A Halloween Party
