Help Yourself to Diabetes Health! on November 18

In observation of National Diabetes Month in November, the Help Yourself to Health Initiative is sponsoring a diabetes forum with a health professional from Huntsville Hospital. Diabetes affects millions of Americans, young and old, rich and poor, of all different races. At this informative event a health professional from Huntsville Hospital who address topics including: What is Diabetes? How is it diagnosed? How can you prevent it? And what can be done to treat it? We will also have an interactive session with exercise and nutrition tips, including healthy ideas for holiday meals. We will review diabetes-related resources available online and in the Huntsville-Madison County Public Library.
