How to do Things!: Yoga on January 25

This free, introductory level class is the perfect opportunity to discover a new healthy habit for a new, healthy year!

Lisa Kennedy, a certified yoga instructor teaching at the UAH Fitness Center, will introduce us to the practice of yoga.  Stress reduction and improved balance, flexibility and strength are a few of the many potential benefits of yoga cited by the Mayo Clinic.

Please dress in comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. Please bring a yoga mat if you have access to one. Otherwise, please bring a towel to use instead.

This class is free and open to the public.

It will take place in the Main branch's youth department on Tuesday, January 25, at 6:30 pm. (But please note that the class is intended for adults.)

Please contact Luisa at lmorenilla [at] hmcpl [dot] org with any questions about this class.

In the How to do Things! series on the second and fourth Tuesday evening of every month, the instructor will teach the basics of a useful skill, craft or task, and then provide participants with resources or information to further pursue the skill.
