Community Wide Read 2011: Wicked City by Ace Atkins

As we reach the final days of Community Wide Read 2011, join us on Wednesday, May 25 at 6pm for the closing program with author and guest of honor Ace Atkins in A Wicked Night Out with Ace.

The purpose of Community Wide Read is to encourage an entire community to read the same book in promotion of literary reading.  Using Wicked City as a platform, an additional goal is to examine Alabama and U.S. history from the 1950s, with specific emphasis on the past and contemporary history of Phenix City, Alabama.
