Save-A-Story tribute to Kathryn Tucker Windham
A special session of Save-A-Story will be dedicated to the memory of storyteller Kathryn Tucker Windham. Please join us on Thursday, June 16, 6 to 8 p.m. in the Archives department to share your stories and memories of this local legend.
About Save-A-Story
The Huntsville Madison County Public Library and WLRH 89.3 FM have teamed up for a new oral history project called "Save-A-Story," giving you, our patrons, a chance to record the voices of important people in your life.
All you have to do is sign up for a free, 15-minute recording session, then simply show up at the Main branch, sit down and start talking. We do the recording. You get a free CD of the session and the library also gets a copy for its historical archives. Reserve a time by calling the library’s Archives Department at 256-532-5989.
