Sitting up with the Dead
The Heritage Room will be hosting its first of three ‘Sitting Up with the Dead’ programs on Friday, June 3rd with speaker Donna Dunham.
The program will run from 6 PM to 11 PM and cost $22.50 per person (includes box meal), or, $15.00 for those not wishing the box meal. Deadline for Registration is Thursday, June 2nd.
Donna Dunham, the former Madison County Records Center assistant, will present a program on researching in Court House Records. Donna has spent many, many hours assisting the public with finding information in wills, deeds, marriage, etc. in the Probate Records. A question and answer session will follow.
Door prizes are back and will be drawn during the evening. Also, for novices to genealogy, there will be a ‘How To’ tutorial presentation on beginning genealogical research.
