Enjoy Cocktails with D.P. Lyle
Enjoy cocktails with the author of HOT LIGHTS, COLD STEEL at the home that served as the inspiration for main character, Dub's dwelling.
The Huntsville Library Foundation is hosting Macavity Award winning and Edgar® Award nominated author D.P. Lyle, MD for a cocktail party and book signing in his native Huntsville stomping grounds. The cocktail party will be held Friday, August 26 at 6:30 p.m. at the Monte Sano home of Jim and Ana Byrne --the home that served as the inspiration for Lyle’s main character, Dub Walker’s, Huntsville dwelling in the novel series. Tickets are on sale now for $40 per person to benefit the Huntsville Library Foundation. Tickets available online at Huntsville Library Foundation.
Born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama, Lyle attended college, medical school, and served an internship at the University of Alabama; followed by a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas at Houston; then a Fellowship in Cardiology at The Texas Heart Institute, also in Houston. For the past 30 years, he has practiced Cardiology in Orange County, California. His second Dub Walker novel, HOT LIGHTS, COLD STEEL, and the first of his Royal Pains tie-in novels, ROYAL PAINS: FIRST, DO NO HARM, released in June.
