New Fees for Computer Class Materials

Effective November 1, the library will begin charging for certain class materials at the Computer Training Center.

Class attendees will be informed during a reminder call if the class they have signed up for has an associated charge; additionally, students can always call the CTC at (256) 532-2356 and ask.

• The quick reference guides are always free
• class materials can be loaded to a thumb drive for free (the library sells thumb drives for $7); all class materials will fit on one thumb drive
• Attendees may provide an email address in writing, and in return we will send materials to that address for free
• Free materials are only available the day of the class; materials for sale are available any time

In the future, we will be loaning class materials out via library or PC user card, so you’ll need to bring that card with you to participate.
