Want to be your own boss? A nationally recognized independent representative, Jenny Johnson, will talk about how to get started and be successful at March's Small Business Lunch & Learn.
Linda Putnam of Restore Your Niche, will talk about how to protect the business you worked so hard to build at the April event. The Small Business Lunch & Learn series is sponsored by the Reference & Adult Services Department of the Main Library. The classes and events are free of charge, and no registration is required.

Small to medium sized businesses are the most vulnerable in the event of an emergency. According to the Institute for Business and Home Safety, an estimated 25 percent of businesses do not reopen following a major disaster. How long a business is disrupted is dependent on how well the plan to recover was developed.
