Support Free2Teach
Give local teachers a boost at your local library!
The Bailey Cove, Madison, Main and Monrovia branches of the Huntsville-Madison County Public Library are supporting Free2Teach, a charitable organization dedicated to providing FREE classroom supplies to the teachers in our community.
Free2Teach needs seven core items -- pencils, pens, crayons, washable markers, glue sticks, copy paper, and loose-leaf paper -- along with other basic classroom supplies, such as construction paper, notebooks, rulers, scissors, highlighters, books, and backpacks.
Every year, our teachers receive little funding for the supplies needed to help educate their students. Free2Teach aims to provide these basic supplies to area teachers at no cost through the Free2Teach store. But before the distribution process can begin, Free2Teach must stock its shelves with supplies.
Large collection boxes have been set up at Bailey Cove, Madison, Main and Monrovia. Donated supplies will be collected through Friday, April 27. All donations will be used locally.
