Super Book Sales!

Three book sales will benefit three of our branch libraries during the weekend of May 11-13.

The Bessie K. Russell Friends of the Library organization will offer books, magazines and CDs for sale on Friday and Saturday, May 11-12, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day at the library, 3011-C Sparkman Drive. The Eleanor E. Murphy Public Library, 7910 Charlotte Drive, will hold a bookstore grand re-opening sale on Friday, May 11, and Saturday, May 12, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, May 13, from 1 to 5 p.m. Paperbacks will be offered at eight books for $1, and prices for other items start at 25 cents. The Bailey Cove Friends of the Library Book Sale will be held on Saturday, May 12, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, May 13, from 1 to 5 p.m. at the library, 1409 Weatherly Plaza. Most items will be just 25 cents, and bestsellers will go for only $1. Selection includes hardback and paperback fiction, non-fiction, children’s, and audiobooks. For more information, call 256-881-0257.
