Get R.A.D. in Madison

Ladies, learn how to defend yourself. The Madison Public Library will host a course in the Rape Aggression Defense System on Saturday, June 23, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the library, 130 Plaza Blvd. in Madison.

The R.A.D. System is a program of self-defense tactics and techniques for women only. The course begins with awareness, prevention, risk reduction and risk avoidance, then progresses to the basics of hands-on defense training. R.A.D. is not a martial arts program.
