Knitting Classes @ Madison
Learn how to knit a handbag at the Madison Public Library each Tuesday in September (4, 11, 18, 25). We will meet from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Prior experience is not required.
This class is free and open to ages 14 and up. Please bring your own knitting supplies. You will need size 13 needles and 1 ball of super bulky yarn (150 yards). Two example brands that should be available at most craft stores are Bernat Felting Wool and Patons Shetlund Chunky. Other brands are ok to use as long as they are 100% wool.
For more information on this pattern and to see a picture of the finished bag, click here.
For additional questions and to reserve your spot e-mail Rachel Hooper at rhooper [at] hmcpl [dot] org or call 256-461-0046. Space is limited so sign up soon.
