Nonprofit 201: "The Nonprofit Landscape"
Nonprofit groups can learn more about resources available to help them in our community during Nonprofit 201: "The Nonprofit Landscape" on Thursday, September 20, from 10 a.m. to noon in the second-floor events room of the Main Library, 915 Monroe St.
Each presenter will discuss different resources for nonprofits in our community. Candace Burnett of the Huntsville Hospital Foundation will talk about the Nonprofit Coalition. Catherine Hereford, National Children’s Advocacy Center, will focus on the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Lynne Berry of the Community Foundation will talk about her organization as will Cathy Miller of United Way. The library's Mary Moore will talk about researching grants and foundations.
A networking session will follow the talks, giving participants an opportunity to promote their organization and seek partners.
