Nonprofit Lunch & Learn: “Online and Social Media for Nonprofits” will be held on Thursday, October 18, from noon to 1 p.m. at the Main Library.

Larkin Grant of Our Valley Events will discuss how to use the online calendar and promotional tool, Our Valley Events, as well as social media tools for maximum impact.

 

Next up for nonprofit organizations will be the nonprofit webinar “Your Board and Fundraising” on Thursday, November 15, from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Main Library. This webinar helps you think through the process of getting your board involved with fundraising.

Topics covered include:

  • The role of your board
  • Why board members may be reluctant to fundraise and how to overcome these concerns
  • Ways the board can participate in fundraising activities
  • Tips for strengthening your fundraising board
