Attention teen artists: The Youth Services Council at the Huntsville-Madison County Public Library is taking submissions for the 2013 Teen Design Contest. The winning graphic design will be featured on the Summer Reading 2013 book bags.
The artwork must reflect one of the Summer Reading 2013 themes: “Underground” or “Beneath the Surface.” Participants may submit artwork to be used as a background on the logo or design the logo to include the words: “Summer Reading 2013.”
The contest is open to ages 12-19. All entries must be the original work of the artist submitting the work, and no copyright or trademark symbols may be used. Art may be signed by the artist.
Entries may be print or digital. Maximum acceptable print size is 8.5 inches by 11 inches. For digital artwork, we can accept vector artwork (.eps, .ps, .ai, etc.) or we can accept raster images (.jpg, .psd, etc.). No slides, video, or websites will be accepted.
