Meet the Author: Beck McDowell

A man with a gun threatens a classroom of first-graders. It’s a horror straight out of the headlines. But it’s also the plot of local author Beck McDowell’s debut novel for young adults, “This Is Not a Drill.” Hear her talk about her work during a Meet the Author program on Sunday, October 28th, at 2 p.m. at the Main Library.
