Weaving Class at Madison
Crystal Kitchens will be back at the Madison Public Library on Friday, November 30, from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. to teach a class on triangle loom weaving. Learn to weave on a triangle frame loom with continuous thread, and how to finish and join the triangles. In this workshop we’ll use a 36” loom to make a child's shawl or adult scarf. We’ll have a fashion show of scarves, shawls, ruanas and ponchos to give you ideas. You’ll learn how to make your own triangle looms in various sizes. No weaving experience is required.
For those who want a shorter workshop, spend three hours and use a 21” loom to make a neckerchief.
All materials will be provided in the $6 supply fee. Please bring a sack lunch. Space is limited so reservations are required. This class is open to ages 14 and older.
