January is shaping up to be a phenomenal month at Monrovia Library. Preschool story time meets every Monday and Thursday at 10:30 a.m. This month's themes are penguins, winter clothes, polar bears and snow. Tuesday, Jan 8 at 1:00 p.m., Home School Story Time travels around the world with Flat Stanley. Also, on Tuesday, Jan. 8 the Lunch and Love Romance Book Club will meet at 11:00 a.m. with a brown bag lunch and discuss The Cowboy and the Princess by Lori Wilde at the Community Center next door to the library. Our Spanish/English Conversation Circle meets Thursday, Jan 17 at 6:30 and travel will be our discussion topic. Finally, local author Melanie Dickerson will be at Monrovia on Tuesday, Jan. 29 at 6:30 to talk about her newest book, The Fairest Beaty.
