"Love in the Library"

Get in the mood for romance!

Huntsville-Madison County Public Library is sponsoring a “Love in the Library” Valentine Fair on Saturday, January 26, from 2 to 4 p.m. The Valentine Fair will be in the Main Library Auditorium, 915 Monroe Street. The event is free of charge and no registration is required.

Romance writers will be on hand to meet readers and sign books. Craft vendors will demonstrate Valentine goodies you can make for your special someone. A selection of writers will present readings and music.

 

Demonstrations:

Chocolate-Making

Live truffle making demo with Dove Chocolate Discoveries Chocolatier, Jenny Johnson.  Jenny will talk about the steps in making ganache and demonstrate how to roll truffles.

Paper Crafts

Beth Crocker is an independent “Stampin' Up!” demonstrator who loves teaching people how to let their crafty side out. She will be making a Valentine Candy treat and a sweet love note to go with it.

Gift Baskets and Floral Arrangements

“Classy Happenings” is an independently owned business that specializes in decorating for parties and special events. They will demonstrate how to create beautiful baskets filled with wonderful surprises and floral designs especially for your Valentine.
