Final shows of 'Big River'

June 24, 25, 26: The final 3 performances of 'Big River' (a musical based on The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn) at Lee High School conclude the Big Read 2010. Purchase tickets online or learn more about the show.

Homework Alabama

Sometimes library patrons are overwhelmed by the sheer volume of online information provided by the Library.  As a result, they often overlook terrific sites that are lost in the mass of data that can be accessed.  One very helpful but underused database within the Library's collection is Homework Alabama. No board meeting in July

There will be no library board meeting in July. The next meeting will be August 18 at 4pm at Main.

We're seeking volunteers!

If you are willing to devote at least two hours a week to your community on a continuing basis, the library needs you! The Main library is seeking multiple volunteers to help assist patrons with our new RFID check-out system, act as a friendly Concierge at the main entrance, work on the Heritage Room Obituary Index project or help with other special tasks or events. Teen Schedule Update for Tillman Library: DJ event on June 8 instead of July 13!

A small update to our Teen Schedule: My LIfe as a DJ (ft DJ Kandy) will be held at the Tillman Hill Library on June 8 @ 6pm.  The previously scheduled Capture the Flag will be held on July 13 @ 6pm.  We apologize for the inconvenience!
