The Truth about Triple Negative Breast Cancer

The end of October shouldn't mean the end of breast cancer awareness. Join us for this informative session and have your questions answered about an aggressive form of the disease known as triple negative breast cancer, on November 4.

Kelly East, a genetic counselor at HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology will give an informative presentation about breast cancer, with a special focus on triple negative breast cancer, which is usually more aggressive and more likely to recur and metastasize than other subtypes of breast cancer. An Evening with Wayne Flynt

Dr. Wayne Flynt will be speaking about his highly acclaimed new memoir, Keeping the Faith: Ordinary People, Extraordinary Lives, on November 8.

LearningQUEST and the Huntsville-Madison County Public Library Archives department are partnering to present this special event featuring the celebrated Alabama historian and author, on November 8, at 7 pm.

New Fees for Computer Class Materials

Effective November 1, the library will begin charging for certain class materials at the Computer Training Center.

Class attendees will be informed during a reminder call if the class they have signed up for has an associated charge; additionally, students can always call the CTC at (256) 532-2356 and ask. Read more about New Fees for Computer Class Materials

Kids will be able to express their thoughts and feelings about bullying by creating their own work of art.  Artwork will be displayed throughout our library!

A Haunted Evening with Jessica Penot

Get into the Halloween "spirit" at this special event with local author Jessica Penot, who will share her knowledge about haunted buildings in North Alabama and Chattanooga, on October 20.
