Let the Fun Begin at Madison Children's Garden!

Beautiful weather set the stage for an amazing Garden Opening yesterday at Madison Public Library. The efforts of countless community donors and volunteers brought this project to a well-received debut. Several hundred library customers explored the interactive learning space taking delight in unexpected surprises at every turn. Mayor Paul Finley and city council representatives were on hand to assist Kristen Kulavich in a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. Library Traffic and Homecoming Parade

The Bob Jones Homecoming Parade is tonight, September 15, at 5:00. Hughes Road is closed south of Eastview. The good news is the Library on Plaza Blvd. is accessible during this time off Brown's Ferry. Go Patriots!

Madison Windmill Installed!

Swing by MPL today for a preview of the newly installed Windmill in the Children's Garden. Its brightly colored petals are made from recycled metals and bring  elements of energy and motion to the garden project. Library staff and customers cheered this morning as it was anchored in the ground. Job well done!
