Library Board to meet at Bailey Cove, October 19

This month's board meeting will take place at the Bailey Cove Public Library, 1409 Weatherly Plaza, Huntsville, AL 35803.  The meeting starts at 4 p.m.

Friends of Tillman Hill Public Library Book Sale

How to do Things!: Salsa Dancing on April 12

Join us for this fun introduction to Salsa dancing class! Greg & Quinta Stargell will teach us basic steps and technique, to set the foundation for an exciting new hobby that can improve your physical health as well as your social life.

Please wear comfortable clothes and if possible slick bottom shoes since we'll be dancing on carpet. Bring your favorite dance partner, or stag it.  We'll all be rotating partners so no one will dance alone. The only thing you need to bring is a smile! Bookmobile featured in Sci-Quest 'Hands on Trucks' exhibit

Come out and see the HMCPL “Bookmobile” as part of Sci Quest's "Hands-on Trucks" exhibit this Saturday. 

The event serves as a great opportunity to give families in our community an opportunity to learn more about HMCPL and bookmobile services.  The HMCPL Bookmobile will participate in many of the summer programs that will be offered by local school systems this year.  The Sci Quest "Hands-on Trucks" exhibit will allow the Bookmobile to be introduced to children that will be seeing the truck over the summer. Author announced for 25th Anniversary of 'Vive le Livre"

The Huntsville Library Foundation is proud to announce the featured author for the very special 25th Anniversary of the ‘Vive le Livre’ event.  Best-selling author and attorney Scott Turow will deliver the keynote at the dinner reception, scheduled for Thursday, November 3rd.
