Huntsville Havoc players to sign autographs.

Huntsville Havoc hockey players Kyle Laughlin and Chad Kennedy will be at the Main branch of the Huntsville-Madison County Public Library on Tuesday, March 15!

They will be in the Youth Services department from 4 to 6 p.m. to speak and sign autographs for the public.

How to do Things!: Get Organized

It's time to think about spring cleaning again! So we are very pleased welcome Karen Wright, owner of Life Simplified, to teach us how to "Purge, Toss & Enjoy the Loss" on March 8.

In her presentation Ms. Wright teach you how to simplify and organize your closets, kitchens, garages and other areas of your home. She'll also teach you about how you can enjoy the process and live a better quality of life.

Did you know you can download music for free online using your library card?  Check out our new digital service available to our patrons: free digital music downloads from the Sony Music Entertainment catalog via Freegal Music!

Freegal Music gives any patron logged into hmcpl.org - with their library card number and PIN - a weekly allowance of three DRM-free and cost-free music downloads.  This allowance is per library card holder!  Downloaded songs are yours to keep, and are easily transferable to any device that's compatible with MP3 format. Save-A-Story oral history project is now taking reservations for Wednesday, March 23!

How to do Things!: Taxes

Bring your tax return questions to the library on February 22. IRS certified volunteer Tom DeLong will be on hand to answer them.

This session is intended for individual tax return questions. Please no business or rental income tax questions.

This event will take place on Tuesday, February 22 at 6:30 pm in the "New Books" alcove of the Main branch. (To the immediate left, when you walk in the front door.) It is free and open to the public.
