Calligraphy: Beginning Italic

Back by popular demand! Join instructor, Carol Tillman, for a six week course in Calligraphy. The class meets on Thursdays, beginning June 12  from 2:00 – 3:30. Teenkers April Event: Ray Gun

Madison Teenkers! Salley forthe to the institution whence tomes of words and wisdome rest upon metallic shelves to construct the next glorious Teenkers project... Ray Guns (non-functioning, unfortunately). Teenkers will congregate in the Meeting Roome at the 5 o'clock hour this evening, Thursday, April the 24th. Storytime & Egg Hunt

Children under age 5 are invited for stories followed by an egg hunt (weather permitting) in the Children's Garden at 2pm on Friday, April 18th at the Madison Public Library.

Teen Book Club at Madison

The Madison Public Library's Teen Book Club will meet Thursday, April 17th, at 5:00 to discuss this month's chosen book... The Evolution of Calpurnia Tate, by Jacqueline Kelly. Join us in the YA room to discuss Calpurnia's summer adventures, her scientific discoveries with her grandpa, and her exploits in the Texas Summer Heat.

Garden Rangers - Earth Day Extravaganza

Join Madison Public Library for a special Garden Rangers on Monday, April 21st from 3-5pm when we'll celebrate our beautiful planet! 


Toddlers & Preschoolers can join us from 3-4pm for planting and a take home craft. 

Movie Nights at Madison

Two classic movies will be shown at the Madison Library as part of our month long Big Read Celebration. The theme for this year is Shakespeare. On April 14 at 6:00 P.M..., "Kiss Me Kate" will be aired in the meeting room. This movie is not rated. On April 21 at 5:30 P.M..., "Shakespeare in Love" will be shown. It is rated R. Don't miss out on movie nights!

Teen Writers' Group April Meeting

Young wordsmiths of Madison, tune your ears. The Teen Writers' Group of Madison will congregate April 3rd, Thursday, at 5:00. Gathered young writers will discuss dialogue, share pieces, and craft! We will construct quill pens with which to arm ourselves in the written battles in which we engage. May we see you then!

 

Huntsville Fencing Club Demonstration

Come and be part of our Community Read Shakespeare Celebration! The Huntsville Fencing Club will be at the Madison Library on Saturday, April 12 at 1:00. They will demonstrate fencing, including historical techniques. This free program is for all ages to enjoy!
