Friendly fire — or murder?

Longtime political aide Skip Tucker discusses his first novel, Pale Blue Light, a historical fiction that dares ask if the shooting of Confederate Lt. General Thomas “Stonewall” Jackson was an accident, or if more sinister forces were involved.

“Pale Blue Light” was another, much lesser known nickname for Stonewall Jackson.  Skip discusses the setting of this Civil War spy thriller, as well as some of the personalities featured.

How to Do Things: Geocaching

Have you seen strangers investigating shrubbery, rocks, or lamp posts? Have you found a strange item in the woods?

Learn the basics of the Global Positioning System and the hi-tech game/sport/hobby of geocaching.

Use of individual GPS receivers will not be covered, but there will be some practice time.  Everyone is encouraged to bring a handheld GPS unit; there will be a short practice run after class. Please become familiar with your GPS ahead of time.
