Weaving Class at Madison

Crystal Kitchens will be back at the Madison Public Library on Friday, November 30, from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. to teach a class on triangle loom weaving. Learn to weave on a triangle frame loom with continuous thread, and how to finish and join the triangles. In this workshop we’ll use a 36” loom to make a child's shawl or adult scarf. We’ll have a fashion show of scarves, shawls, ruanas and ponchos to give you ideas. Read more »

Festival of Wreaths Workshop at Madison

The Friends of the Madison Public Library invites area non-profit groups to participate in their first annual “Festival of Wreaths”, a program designed to celebrate the holiday spirit and showcase artists and community organizations in and around Madison.  On Saturday, November 10, we will have a workshop to give you additional ideas for your wreaths and how to promote your non-profit group.  The workshop will be from 1-2 p.m. at the Madison Public Library.

The workshop is free and sign-ups are not required.
