Great Big Book Bash: Harry Bliss

Great Big Book Bash is an annual children's author/illustrator event sponsored by the Huntsville Public Library Foundation and Primrose Schools.  This year's guest is illustrator Harry Bliss.  Mr. Bliss will be giving two exciting and kid-friendly presentations at the Main location of the Huntsville-Madison County Public Library.  A book signing will follow both presentations and books will be available to purchase the day of the event.

Meet local author Frank Griffin

Tuesday, Feb. 9: Author Frank Griffin will speak about and sign copies of his memoir, Touched by Fire, an account of growing up in the 1950s and 1960s in a family of Alabama migrant farm workers. Frank's father, Johnny Frank Griffin, was knifed in 1954, a day after he'd told a Phenix City grand jury of what he'd seen in the moments after Attorney General-designate Albert Patterson's assassination. 10am - noon, Main Library 2nd Floor public meeting room.
