Holiday Open House and Tree Trimming Party

Location: Eleanor E. Murphy Branch Library

Join us for a Holiday Open House and Tree Trimming Party at the Eleanor Murphy Library -- fun for the whole family!  We will start with a joyous reading of holiday favorites; Are You Grumpy, Santa?, and T’was the Night Before Christmas.  We will then invite everyone to participate in decorating our Library Tree with beautiful ornaments created by the children of our community.  Enjoy refreshments, hot mulled cider, smiling faces, and holiday cheer.  This event is sponsored by the Eleanor Murphy Friends of the Library.

"Billy Goats Gruff and Other Stuff" Puppet Show

Location: Weatherly Heights Baptist Church

What happens when the three Billy Goats Gruff try to cross the troll’s bridge? All sorts of stuff does in this retelling of the story. David Stephens’ production of Billy Goats Gruff and Other Stuff will take you on a fun filled journey where you’ll meet familiar faces and learn Little Red Riding Hood’s first name.  From Farmer Frick and Farmer Frack to the crany troll, kids of all ages will laugh and learn during the show!
