Health Matters @ Madison: Cardiovascular Health and Wellness

Health Rocks! is a National 4-H curriculum that many schools, camps, and youth programs are using to encourage children to adopt healthy behaviors and to avoid drugs, tobacco, and alcohol. Results from surveys from the past two years suggest that after participating in this program, children feel that they have learned new skills and that they plan to avoid risky behaviors.

Dr. Hugh Long presents "An Introduction to Shakespeare's Theatrical Swordplay"

When the Taliban took control of the Swat Valley in Pakistan, one girl spoke out. Malala Yousafzai refused to be silenced and fought for her right to an education.

On Tuesday, October 9, 2012, when she was fifteen, she almost paid the ultimate price. She was shot in the head at point-blank range while riding the bus home from school, and few expected her to survive.

Bias Rectangle Loom Weaving

Join instructor, Crystal Kitchens, to weave a 9" x 36" scarf on a rectangle loom. No weaving experience is required. There is a $6 supply fee for this workshop.
