Health Matters Session 6: Health Risks for African Americans

Gina Turner, from Huntsville Hospital, will be at the Madison Library on January 17 at noon. She will present a free seminar on health risks for African Americans.  This is the sixth presentation in the Madison Library’s Health Matters Program.

Weave a Round Basket

Please join instructor, Crystal Kitchens on Friday, January 24, 2014 from 9:00 to 3:00 in the Madison Library meeting room. You will learn how to make a round basket. No basket making experience is required. For those who already know how to make a basket, you will have the opportunity to weave a basket over a quart jar (for use as a flower vase that will hold water) or weave a double-walled basket. The supply fee for this class is $8.00. Registration is required and spaces are limited.

In her presentation, she will explore different types of strokes, symptoms, treatment and recovery. This is the fourth presentation in the Madison Library's Health Matters program. Everyone is welcome for this free seminar.
