Huntsville Civil Rights activist Dr. Sonnie Hereford discusses his memoir, Beside the Troubled Waters.  Based on interviews conducted by Jack Ellis, the account spans much of Dr. Hereford’s life, from childhood to medical school, to his participation in the Huntsville Civil Rights movement, and after the end of segregation.

Books will be available for purchase and signing.

Discover the Technology of Animal Tracking

Meet Heather Montgomery, author of Wild Discoveries: Wacky New Animals as she talks about the research that went into her book, and the technology the discoverers used to find these animals.  Some of the tools were very low tech (a magnifying glass) to high tech (GPS Systems).   If you love animals and technology, you’re going to love this program! This Science Club is a part of the Discover Tech Program.
