Spring Writers Event

The Murphy Writers Group is hosting a Spring Writers Event at The Coffee Tree Books and Brew on Thurs, March 21 at 6:00pm.

The event will include guest speaker, Aprill Smith; a progressive story; and readings by writing group members.

The event is free and open to the public. Recommended for ages 14+. Light refreshments will be served.

The Coffee Tree Books and Brew is located at 7900 Bailey Cove Rd SE, Huntsville, AL. The Murphy Writers Group meets twice a month at the Eleanor Murphy Library and is coordinated by Kemi Elufiede.

 

 

 

Quidditch Matches

Join us at Willow Park (1928 Aftonbrae Huntsville, AL) as we play Quidditch! We will only accept players between the ages of 13 to 18. Players must wear tennis shoes and bring their own broom. Quidditch will be played by International Quidditch rules (http://internationalquidditch.org/files/IQA_Rulebook_5.pdf), with the exception of there will be no physical contact.
