The Huntsville-Madison County Public Library is pleased to welcome back Dr. Bill Stephens, to conduct a series of five lectures on ancient Egyptian religions. The series will address mystical ancient Egyptian beliefs such as the creation of the world by the sun god Ra, the significance of the bizarre animal-headed gods and goddesses, the awesome power of the hieroglyphic words, the fearsome eater of the hearts of sinful mummies, mystical reincarnation in animal forms, the forty-two commandments, and the secret code access to eternal life.

These lectures are free to the public. They run for 5 consecutive Fridays, from September 10th through October 8th, from 10 am- 12 pm, in the second floor events room in the main library. Read more about Egyptology with Dr. Bill Stephens
