Books & Bricks: Monster Lab Edition!

We're calling all monster makers to try their hands at building their very own LEGO Halloween creatures! Kids ages 6-12 can use bricks provided by the Tennessee Valley LEGO Club and HMCPL to build their scary, funny monster creations during our Monster Lab! Prizes awarded for the best creations. And guess what? You can take your monster home to keep! Space is limited to 24, so register with Youth Services Main today by calling 256-532-5949.

Discover the Writer in You Book Release

This publication includes the works of members of the Murphy Writers' Group and Teen Authors' Workshop. There is no charge to attend.

Non-profit Lunch and Learn: First Stop in Helping the Homeless

First Stop is a non-profit agency located in Huntsville whose mission is to provide a basic set of services to homeless people in Huntsville and Madison County. First Stop does not duplicate county services available from other agencies, but works with those agencies to fill gaps that exist in services.

Join us as Tashaunda Weeks, Director of First Stop, discusses the mission and history of First Stop, the four tiers of their program (services provided) and ways that the community can help.
