Local writer Ann Marie Martin discusses “Facts and Fancy: How a Newspaper Career Taught Me to Write Fiction” on Tuesday, July 9, at noon at the Main Library’s Write Right Lunch & Learn series.
A former writer and editor for The Huntsville Times, Ann Marie Martin is communications director for the HMCPL system. She’ll share stories from her newspaper career and offer insights on the process and psychology of writing for both fiction and creative nonfiction. During 23 years at The Times, Ann Marie covered the local arts and entertainment scene and edited the biannual fashion section, the ExtraCredit schools feature section and the Sunday book page.
