Huntsville Ghost Tour
The Huntsville Ghost Walk will offer a special tour in conjunction with the Huntsville Public Library's Big Read on Friday, April 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. Tickets are $8 per person, $6 for kids 12 and under, and may be purchased on the night of the event in front of Harrison Brothers Hardware Store. Our special tour will take visitors through the Old Town Historic District which features the ghosts of children singing a tune from the 1918 flu epidemic, the angry spirit of a man lynched for a cold-blooded murder, a World War I casualty in the bloody Meuse-Argonne Battle, and many more chilling tales. We will highlight, in honor of the Big Read, the ghost of Mark Twain's cousin, Huntsville resident Jeremiah Clemens, who resides in the home built by his father which now serves as a law office. Mr. Clemens was an opinionated man in his day, and so he remains in death! Bring your cameras and take plenty of photographs. Perhaps you may find that someone, or something, is watching you too!
