How to do Things!: Make a Garden Friend
In this session of "How to do Things!" we will learn how to paint our own cheerful garden accent in just an hour. You may follow our designs for a turtle, bee or ladybug statue - or dream up a creation of your own. Garden friends can be used in a border to perk up your concrete edging, or stand alone as an accent in your flower bed.
This class will take place in the second floor events room of our Main branch, from 6:30-8 pm. All supplies are provided by the library. It is free and open to the public, but small donations are requested, to help us cover the cost of supplies.
Please wear clothes that you don't mind getting some paint on, and an apron if you have one.
Registration is required. This cass is limited to 18 participants, due to limited supplies. Please register using the form provided below.
------------------------------------------------------
In the How to do Things! series on the second and fourth Tuesday evening of every month, the instructor will teach the basics of a useful skill, craft or task, and then provide participants with resources or information to further pursue the skill. Find out more by visiting the Huntsville-Madison County Public Library's programming and events calendar at http://hmcpl.org/events.
Please contact Luisa at lmorenilla [at] hmcpl [dot] org if you have questions about this event or other sessions in the How to do Things! series.
