LearningQuest in partnership with Patriotic Organizations in the Community present:
A Rally 'Round the Flag Day, Tuesday June 14 to celebrate the 234th birthday of the American Flag.

Albert Farrar and Boys Scouts of Troupe #400 will be on hand in the Library parking lot to present a program on the respect and responsibility we have to our Flag.  The public is welcome to bring flags that need to be properly retired.  The Boy Scouts will handle the flags with honor and care, retiring them through the correct retirement procedure.  Those who bring flags to be retired may say a few words about why that flag was special, and even have the honor of place the flag in the pyre.  This program will take place near the Library parking lot.

Please note: To fully honor our nation's Flag, all regularly scheduled youth programs will be canceled.  We invite parents and children to participate in our Flag Day activities instead.
