An afternoon with Christy Jordan, author of The Southern Plate
We are delighted to welcome author Christy Jordan, whose book The Southern Plate is recognized as one of the best Southern cookbooks in America. She also runs the website Southernplate.com, an indispensable resource for anyone who loves delicious, heart-warming Southern food.
Goodreads.com describes The Southern Plate as "a book about love, nostalgia for simpler times, and the unpretentious comfort food that came from Christy's Grandmother's kitchen and went straight into her heart."
This event will take place on Saturday, August 27 at 3 pm in the Main branch auditorium. Books by the author will be available for purchase at the event.
This event is free and open to the public.

Auditorium
The auditorium is located on the first floor of the Main Library. After opening the exterior doors of the Main Library, immediately turn right. The auditorium is located straight ahead, at the end of the hallway.
