Incidents of the War in North Alabama: The Civil War Diary of Mary Jane Chadick

Huntsville Historical Society Board Member and historian Nancy Rohr will present Part I of this two-part lecture series on the role of women in the Civil War. 

This program is in conjunction with the national traveling exhibit “Lincoln: The Constitution and the Civil War.”  Monday,  May  7, from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m.  in the Atrium of the Huntsville-Madison County Public Library, 915 Monroe Street.

After walking through the external doors, you will pass through a second set of internal doors, and be facing the main Circulation desk. Walk around the Circulation desk. Art displays listed as appearing in the Atrium are located on platforms around the central stairs to the second floor, and events taking place in the Atrium take place in the open area between the staircase and the Audiovisual department.
