Meet the Author: Jamie Dodson

Award-winning historical fiction author Jamie Dodson explores the “flying boats” of the first half of the 20thcentury.  Some of the largest aircraft of their time, flying boats used water instead of expensive land-based runways – ideal for international functions during the interwar period.

Jamie explains why flying boats were attractive to early airlines, cargo haulers, explorers and the military, and exhibits his display airliner models.  He also gives an introduction to his Nick Grant Adventures series, which features aviation of this bygone era.

Books will be available for purchase and signing – a perfect holiday gift for young and adult aviation enthusiasts alike.
