How to Do Things: Introduction to Crocheting a Rag Mug Rug
Maximum number of (adult and youth ages 14 and up) students: 10. To register, contact Sophie Young at 256-532-2362.
Leader: Crystal Kitchens, member of Huntsville Fiber Guild.
Learn a few simple crochet stitches and crochet a mug rug from rag strips in class. Learn how to start a round rug and an oval rug. You will know how to continue the work at home to make a full sized rug if you want. Bring a size P or size Q crochet hook and some tightly woven fabric, such as a sheet, to recycle. No crochet experience is required.
The leader will bring all the other supplies for use in class.
Second Floor Meeting Room
The second floor meeting room is open only for library-sponsored events. It is not available for reservation by the public, unlike our other meeting rooms.
