Small Business Lunch & Learn: "Running a Small Craft Business"
Small Business Lunch & Learn: "Running a Small Craft Business"
Monday, February 4, 2013
12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m.
Main Library, 915 Monroe Street
Second Floor Events Room
Have you ever had a hobby that you would like to turn into a business either because you really enjoy it, or you think it will create an income for you? We will discuss the steps to take a small hobby to a larger profitable scale, including budgeting, cost tracking, inventory control and marketing.
Speaker: Stephanie Yeager, Top to Bottoms Bowtique
Stephanie is a software trainer, consultant and project manager that found herself with a lot of time on her hands in early 2011. Not one to sit still, and with a young daughter at home, Stephanie saw an opportunity to employ her crafting skills along with her business knowledge and Top to Bottoms Bowtique was born. Over the past two years, Stephanie has more than doubled her business through word of mouth and the use of social media.
Bring a sack lunch. Drinks will be provided.
