How to Do Things: Introduction to Weaving Bands on the Inkle Loom
Maximum number of (adult and youth ages 14 and up) students: 10. To register, contact Sophie Young at 256-532-2362.
Leader: Crystal Kitchens, member of Huntsville Fiber Guild.
Learn to weave on an inkle loom, which can be used to make narrow bands. In class you will make a bookmark. Begin to learn the language of weaving. The inkle looms will be ready to use when you arrive, and you’ll learn how to dress an inkle loom. No weaving experience is required.
The leader will bring all the tools and other supplies for use in class.
Second Floor Meeting Room
The second floor meeting room is open only for library-sponsored events. It is not available for reservation by the public, unlike our other meeting rooms.
